Preparing for lifelong learning
Panthers’ Prep Preschool is a private non-profit preschool located just outside the village limits of Lewisburg at the Lewisburg United Methodist Church, 3147 US 40 E. Panthers’ Prep Preschool is an Ohio-licensed preschool designed to engage and prepare preschool children for lifelong learning in all areas of development. All activities are developmentally appropriate for children ages 3-6 and are designed to cover Ohio's Early Learning and Development Standards in all domains of school readiness. These domains reflect children's comprehensive development from age three to kindergarten entry. Panthers’ Prep Preschool is a “Montessori-inspired” school that uses Maria Montessori principles. These principles allow children the freedom of movement, the freedom to choose their work, and the freedom to engage in their interests in a well-prepared environment. These freedoms have been shown to increase our students’ tenacity of focus and independence, as many parents, grandparents, and even teachers who have taught our graduated students in grades K-3 have commented on our students who have attended our preschool at Panthers’ Prep. Our Mission
The mission of Panthers’ Prep is to prepare students for lifelong learning. Whether they are enrolled in our preschool program or are one of the k-4 students who come for tutoring, Panthers Prep instills the skills they need for success. Beginning in the Fall of 2025 we will begin working to support families who homeschool children in grades 1-3.
